Our mantels are man-made composites derived from limestone or similar materials. With our special wet-cast
process we can replicate complicated designs with great clarity at a price that cannot be matched in carved stone fireplace mantels. Fully cured our cast stone fireplace surrounds will have compression strength of over 6500 pounds, twice that of standard concrete.
Other advantages of our fireplace surrounds include reduced lead time and uniformity in strength and color with our mantels. The Fireplace design possibilities are infinite, with so many styles of stone mantles available. You will want to take into account the overall size of the room and the scale of your firebox. You may want to consult our design staff to use the dimensions of your firebox and prepare a scale drawing using whichever style fireplace surround you select, to help you visualize how your fireplace will look in your home.
No matter which style fireplace you choose, do not forget lead time. We have some fireplaces in inventory available for immediate shipment, however the more complicated fireplace surrounds will have longer manufacturing lead times.
